About Antony Hansen
Hansen keeps himself busy shooting adventure, aviation work, editorial portraits and his own exhibition projects, both moving and stills. He's equally passionate about outdoor pursuits, in particular skydiving and snow sports. "It's something I've done for the past 18 years and really enjoy, it's perfect for gaining a fresh perspective on things", says Antony.
Travel also gets a mention, "I've worked in France, Spain and Turkey which was great, but I love the freedom and diversity that the South Island of New Zealand provides, it's a constant source of inspiration for me in all areas of my life".
A quick glance through Antony's photography reveals that this inspiration is at the root of each image. Accompanied by a strong sense of structure and composition, they provide a fresh and provocative look at the world around, above and within us.
